Analyst, Principal Supply Chain Analyst - MN – Osseo

This Principal Supply Chain Analyst supports the supply chain through the creation and maintenance of off-line tools while leveraging and supporting core IT applications. He/She develops cascading metrics & reporting. In addition, the Principle Analyst provides ad hoc analytic analysis to increase supply chain understanding and improve business performance. This requires innovative thinking, consulting skills, project management, and skillful manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Develop, maintain and improve off-line tools leveraging core IT applications.
2.Support or lead corporate projects- develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals.
3.Identify, design and develop cascading metrics and supporting tools.
4.Support corporate ad hoc analysis requested by Senior Management. Reconcile supply chain data to other functions as needed.
5.Train the supply chain analysts on Access and Excel based tools.
6. Work with Global Supply Chain team and Business Process Leads to develop requirements for changes to SAP or Business Warehouse reports, databases, or functionality related to Supply Chain.
Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Manufacturing or related field
  
• 5 + years of Supply Chain, MFG Planning or Data Management Systems experience
  
• Strong PC skills such as Excel, Access, Power Point, Word
  
• Experience utilizing SAP or other ERP system preferred
  
• Working knowledge of Material Reqirements Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, Forecasting processes
  
• Strong Analytical skills. Ability to structure and perform data analysis
  
• Perform to a high level of accuracy on all tasks
  
• Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures.
  
• Strong work ethic with attention to details and desire to produce accurate work output
